Objectives:
The general objective of this course is to train the students in all the concepts and techniques required to generate a point-cloud 3D reconstruction of a scene captured by several cameras or by a moving one. This includes a detailed understanding of the application of Projective Geometry concepts to Computer Vision (projection matrix, camera calibration, fundamental matrix, etc.) and of the design-based and learning-based state-of-the-art techniques for the for the detection and description of points-of-interest.
